Abstract

The research aims to identify:
1- The effect of using infographic technology on self-esteem and the level of performance of some basic skills in volleyball (passing from above - passing from below - serving from below) among first-year students at the Faculty of Physical Education - Port Said University.
2- The effect of using the command learning method (the usual method) on self-esteem and the level of performance of some basic skills in volleyball among first-year students at the Faculty of Physical Education - Port Said University.
The researcher used the experimental method as it suits the nature of this current study, using an experimental design that relies on pre- and post-measurement for two groups, one experimental and the other control. The research population included first-year students at the Faculty of Physical Education at Port Said University in the first semester of the academic year (2022-2023). Their number reached (290) students. In light of the results and the limits of the research, the following conclusions were reached:
1- The educational program using infographic technology has a positive, statistically significant effect at the level of 0.05 on self-esteem and the level of performance of some basic skills in volleyball (passing from above - passing from below - serving from below) for first-year students at the Faculty of Physical Education - Port Said University.
