An analytical study to develop the volleyball curriculum in light of the curriculum engineering standards for students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Benha University

Abstract

The aim of this research is to evaluate the volleyball curriculum of the first year of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Benha University from the point of view of:
1. Students of the first year of the Faculty of Sports Sciences.
2. Volleyball professors of the Faculty of Sports Sciences.
The researcher used the descriptive method, as it is appropriate to the nature of the research.The research community was deliberately selected from first-year students and volleyball professors at the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Benha University.The research sample was chosen by the intentional random method with a total of (200) students from the first year of the College of Sports Sciences. (25) were drawn for the exploratory sample, and the remaining (175) students for the experimental sample, from the volleyball professors of the College of Sports Sciences, numbering (15) professors. (5) professors were drawn for the exploratory sample and the remaining (10) for the experimental sample.The following conclusions were reached:

Evaluation of the volleyball curriculum at the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Benha University, in light of the scientific standards and foundations of engineering regarding the responses of the research sample of first-year students:

1. Reformulating the objectives: It is necessary to update the objectives of the curriculum to include enhancing psychological and physical skills in line with the current needs of students, with the addition of various activities such as team games and individual games to meet the interests and abilities of all students comprehensively.
