Abstract

“The effect of a motor education program based on virtual reality (VR) on improving some motor skills and cognitive concepts for pre-school children”
The research aimed to design a motor activities program and take advantage of the idea of virtual reality technology (VR) and study the effect of using this virtual reality on the development of some basic motor skills (running, jumping, jumping, throwing). A random sample of pre-school children whose ages ranged between 4 and 6 years was selected, The basic research sample was selected from KG kindergarten and its number was (50) children. They were divided into (25) experimental sample, (25) control sample, in addition to the exploratory group, numbering (10). Basic motor skills tests and cognitive concepts tests were used, The most important results of the research were the presence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of the two dimensional measurements for the control and experimental research groups in the basic motor skills and cognitive concepts under research in favor of the experimental group.
