Abstract

The research aims to identify the effect of French contrasting training on the physical efficiency index, horizontal and vertical ability, and some offensive skills of young football players.

The researchers used the experimental method for one experimental group with a “pre-post” measurement design due to its suitability and appropriateness to the nature of the research.

The research community is represented by the football juniors of Minya Sports Club, registered with the Egyptian Football Association for the 2024/2025 sports season under 20 years old, numbering (30) juniors. The researchers selected the basic research sample intentionally from the juniors of Minya Sports Club under 20 years old, and the sample size reached (18) juniors. The researchers selected (6) juniors from the same community to conduct the exploratory study and to calculate the scientific coefficients for the variables under study.

One of the most important conclusions was that the proposed training program for French contrast training contributed to improving the level of physical efficiency and horizontal and vertical muscle capacity of the research sample members. The training program also contributed significantly to raising the level of offensive skills of the research sample members.
