The effect of a motor activities program based on a gamification strategy in developing some motor skills, independence, and creative thinking skills for pre-school children.

Abstract

The research aims to design a proposed educational program using the gamification strategy and determine its impact on:
- Developing motor skills and independence.
- Improving creative thinking in pre-school children.
According to the nature of the research problem, to achieve its objectives and to test its hypotheses, the researchers used the experimental method by using an equal groups design, two groups, one experimental and the other control, and the pre- and post-measurement was done for each of them.
The research population included pre-school children aged between (4 and 6) years, from First Step Nursery in Beni Suef Governorate, and their number was (38) thirty-eight children who were divided into (10) experimental sample, (10) control sample, in addition to the exploratory group, numbering (10) ten children, and (8) children were excluded due to their irregular attendance.
 The proposed motor activities program using the gamification strategy showed a strong effect of the activity on the development of basic motor skills, independence, and creative thinking (fluency, flexibility, originality) for pre-school children aged (4-6) years.
