The effect of using virtual reality technology on learning some basic skills in fencing among students of the Faculty of Physical Education, Beni Suef University

The research aims to design an educational program using virtual reality technology with (VR) glasses technology and to know its effect on (the level of physical and skill performance, teaching skills) for some basic fencing skills for third-year students at the Faculty of Physical Education, Beni Suef University.
The researchers used the quasi-experimental approach using one of the experimental designs, which is the experimental design for two groups, one experimental, and the other control, by applying the pre- and post-measurement of the two groups.

The research sample was selected by the intentional random method, amounting to (420) students, and the basic research sample was selected and consisted of (100) students and they were divided into two groups (50) students for the experimental group (50) students for the control group, where the size of the exploratory study sample was (20) students to calculate the scientific coefficients, and the most important results were: -
* The educational program using virtual reality technology with (VR) glasses technology has a positive effect on learning some basic fencing skills for students of the experimental group, the third year under study.

* The learning method using virtual reality technology led to improving the level of skill and teaching performance of students in the experimental group compared to the method based on performing models within lectures.
