Using Mental Stimulant Strategy and its Effect on Learning Some Skills on Parallel Bars in Artistic Gymnastics
Abstract This study was conducted to learn some basic skills in artistic gymnastics on the parallel bar. The experimental approach was used and the sample was students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Diyala for the third stage in the artistic gymnastics activity for men. The sample number was 36 students and they were divided into two groups, where the control group was 18 students and the experimental group was 18 students. The study aimed to identify the use of the mental stimulant strategy in learning some basic skills on the parallel bar in artistic gymnastics for men. The results obtained through the statistical data showed the presence of significant statistical differences in favor of the experimental group. The researchers recommend using the mental stimulant strategy in learning some skills in other activities.
