Abstract

Research Title: The effect of using active learning strategies on improving some learning outcomes of the physical education course for students with special needs for students of the Faculty of Physical Education
The research aimed to identify the improvement of cognitive aspects in the physical education course for students with special needs Faculty of Physical Education. The researcher used the experimental method. The research community consisted of fourth-year students, teaching department at the Faculty of Physical Education, Beni Suef University, who numbered (301). The research sample included (80) male and female students who were divided into (40) male and female students, a pilot sample, (20) male and female students, a control sample, (20) Male and female students (experimental sample). Twelve new active learning strategies were used, and each chapter of the course was taught with a different strategy. The researcher used data collection methods such as expert opinion survey forms and the cognitive test under study. The most important results were in favor of the average post-test for the two groups and in favor of the experimental group, which indicates the effectiveness of using active learning strategies in the physical education course for people with special needs, which in turn led to an improvement in the cognitive achievement of the experimental group students in the physical education course for people with special needs for fourth year students, teaching department at the Faculty of Physical Education. .
