Abstract

The research aimed to develop a training program using cluster training for 400-meter runners in the Taibah University team for athletics and to know its effect on some physiological variables (lactic acid before exertion and after effort - maximum oxygen consumption) and the digital level of the 400-meter sprint contestants, and the researcher used the experimental approach on a sample of (10) 400-meter sprint contestants in the Taibah University team for athletics, and research tools: Physiological measurements - measuring the digital level of the 400-meter sprint runners - training program using cluster training.
Among the most important results:
1- The training program using cluster training has a positive effect statistically at the level of 0.05 on some physiological variables of the 400-meter runners.
2- There are improvement rates in the dimensional measurement of the tribal members of the basic research sample in the physiological variables with percentages ranging between (9.57% - 26.61%).
3- The training program using cluster training has a positive effect statistically at the level of 0.05 on the digital level of 400-meter runners.
4- There is an improvement rate in the dimensional measurement of the tribal members of the basic research sample in the amount of (12.17%).
Recommendations:
1- Using the cluster training program because of its effective effect in improving the physiological variables and the digital level of the 400-meter sprint competitors in the Taibah University athletics team.
