Participation in recreational festivals and their reflections on the motives of love of participation and the development of the challenge of winning among students of physical education faculties in some Egyptian universities

Abstract

The research aimed to identify the participation in the recreational festivals and their reflections on the motives of love
of participation and the development of the challenge of winning among the students of the faculties of physical education in some Egyptian universities. Male and female students of the faculties of physical education in some Egyptian universities participating in the activities of the recreational festival for specialized colleges for the academic year (2022-2023) and their number is (170) students, and the survey sample was chosen from the same research community, but from outside the basic research sample, as it numbered (30) Male and female students, and the researcher used the measure of the motivation of love of participation and the measure of the motivation of
developing the challenge of winning as tools for collecting data for the research, and the most important findings of the
researcher were the following:
1 -Constructing two scales, the motive of love of participation
and the motive of developing the challenge of winning, and their
enjoyment of a high degree of honesty and stability.
2 -The level of the scale (Motivation to Love Participation) as a
whole among students of physical education faculties in some
Egyptian universities participating in recreational festivals was
(high), with an arithmetic mean of (55.93) and a standard
deviation of (4.87)
