The role of information technology in improving the level of recreational activities in student welfare offices at Minya University

Abstract

The research aims to identify the role of information technology in raising the level of recreational activities in student welfare offices at Minya University, through identifying the mechanisms of information technology in raising the level of recreational activities, areas of using information technology to support recreational activities in student welfare offices, aspects of applying information technology to support recreational activities. In student welfare offices, obstacles to applying information technology in supporting recreational activities in student welfare offices.
The researcher used the descriptive approach (survey method). The research population is represented by workers in the student welfare offices at Minya University, who number (175) individuals. The researcher selected the research sample intentionally, which consists of (84) individuals.
One of the most important results was the achievement of information technology mechanisms to raise the level of recreational activities in the student welfare offices at Minya University, and one of the most important recommendations was the necessity of activating administrative information technology systems in university institutions.
