Abstract

Identify the effect of using the carb cycle diet
(carb cycling) to lose weight and improve some physical variables for wrestlers
Method used: The researcher used the experimental method with an experimental design for one experimental group
The research sample and its characteristics: The research sample was chosen deliberately from the players of the Beni Suef University team who are registered with the Egyptian Wrestling Federation, and they number (18) players.
Most important results:
• There are statistically significant differences in favor of the post-measurement in all tests except (left grip strength), where the z value for the significance variable was recorded (1.55). This indicates the small arithmetic value of it due to the occurrence of significance at the table value (1.96) and with reference to the percentage of improvement for left hand grip strength as a variable. Physical recorded an improvement rate of (1.55), while the rest of the improvement rates and statistical significance were for the rest of the physical variables, where the lowest value in the improvement rates was recorded in favor of the flexibility variable.
(11.1) The largest value in the improvement rates was in favor of back muscle strength with a value of
(50.2)
• There are statistically significant differences in favor of the post-measurement in all physical measurements except (measurement of water percentage), where the z value for the significance variable was recorded as (1.54). This indicates its small arithmetic value because the significance occurs at the tabular value (1.96).
